Double Chocolate Fudge Ingredients
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips.
11 1/2 ounce milk chocolate chips
14 ounce sweetened condensed milk.
Two tablespoons cream or milk.
2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
To Make the FudgePlace the semisweet chocolate chips with 2/3 of a cup sweetened condensed milk, one tablespoon cream or milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla, in a saucepan
Melt this chocolate mixture over low heat
Stir in half a cup of walnuts.
Line a 9 inch square pan with foil
Spread the fudge mixture evenly the pan.
In another saucepan, melt, over low heat,the milk chocolate chips with remaining sweetened condensed milk and 1 tablespoon cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Remove from heat, and stir in the remaining walnuts.
Spread this milk chocolate fudge mixture over the dark chocolate fudge in the pan.
Chill for two hours or until firm.
Turn the chocolate fudge on to a cutting board.
Peel foil off and cut into squares, of the desired size.
Store loosely covered at room temperature.
Makes about 2 1/2 pounds, which, unfortunately, won't last at all long because this double chocolate fudge is any chocolate lovers idea of sheer bliss
