CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE PIE


Ingredients for the Chocolate Cheesecake Pie

36 vanilla wafers, in crumbs.
1/3 cup cocoa 1/3 cup Confectioners sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
14 ounces condensed milk sweetened.
1 cup chocolate chips, semisweet.
2 eggs.
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

Method:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler Combine the wafer crumbs, sugar, cocoa and margarine.
Press firmly on bottom and up the side to rim of 9 inch pie plate.
Beat cheese until fluffy in mixer bowl.
Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk then the melted chocolate chips.
Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
pour into prepared crust.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until centre is set.
Cool. Then chill thoroughly.
Garnish as desired
refrigerate leftovers if anything is left of this delicious Chocolate cheesecake pie
