1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
3 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
2 teaspoons soda.
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans.
6 ounces chocolate chips semisweet
Method:
Soften the butter and cream gradually adding sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla beating well.
Combine the flour, soda and salt and add to creamed mixture, beating just until blended.
Stir in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
Shaped the dough into three long rolls, 2 inches in diameter.
Wrap each roll in waxed paper and freeze overnight.
Unwrap rolls and cut into 1/4" slices; place on a greased cookie Sheets.
Bake 350° Fahrenheit for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned
